Our Approach:

At Speech Improvement Center, we root our practice in our core principle – that communication needs warrant individual, comprehensive therapy. We aren’t just another agency for speech pathologists and our clients; we’re motivated with a passion to improve children’s lives by giving them loving support. Our evaluation process is thorough and truly in-depth, including but not limited to standardized tests, developmental checklists and speech-specific keen observations.

We believe no child is alike in terms of his or her own linguistic evolution and process, which is why we place such an unequivocal focus on a therapy plan suited for an individual, not just an age range or category. Treatment differs depending on the type of diagnosis, but a large emphasis is placed on structured communicative tasks, language simulation activities and parent counseling. Speech therapy is anything but a one-size-fits-all formula, so our highly trained therapists tailor a personalized curriculum for each child based off his or her needs and goals.

It’s estimated that 1,460,583 children in the U.S. are living with speech problems and language disorders. At Speech Improvement Center, we are determined to be the solution.
